Most Things, If Not Everything, Happens for a Reason

Some of you may think this will sound like a bunch of hocus pocus or witchery but one of the most important things I have learned in my life is that everything happens for a reason.

Whether you believe in God, law of attraction, etc, have you considered that one or all of these could be responsible for the events that transpire in your life? Some people believe God has a plan for them while others believe that you attract what you put out into the Universe. I believe in both.

I used to be a very negative person with a pessimistic outlook on life. I complained often and had taken on the role of a victim. I wondered why everything bad happened to me and what I had done to deserve bad things happening to me.

I had no idea I was like this at the time and didn’t realize it until years later after I had severely worked on my personal growth and development. I read many books and listened to positive audios on a daily basis. I began to learn every day, which resulted in more positive thoughts, and my brain functioning at a higher frequency. I began to see the good in every situation which gave me peace of mind and allowed me to enter a new plane of spirituality.

After shedding my victim skin and growing a thicker layer in it’s place, my life started changing for the better and more and more good things started happening for me. I had learned that where I was that day was a direct reflection of the decisions I had made in the past.

After that I made one of the most powerful and impacting decisions in my life when I chose to take responsibility for all of my actions and accept that life was happening for me, not to me. I realized my power to take charge to my life and that nobody but me was stopping me from going after the things I wanted in life.

Adopting this new mentality changed my life on every level and revived my soul and spirit and more importantly, peace of mind. All of this bundled together contributed to my mind functioning at higher levels and helped me see the opportunity in things. From there I started advancing in all areas of my life and got closer to finding my purpose.

When I was super negative I had no idea what I wanted to do with my life. I recently realized that the opportunities I am pursuing now were available to me years in the past in different form, yet I failed to realize the potential in them .

I’m aware of my life purpose and am stepping further into that role every day. I’m so grateful to have taken over a new leave and truly believe that everything happens to teach us a lesson or present opportunity.

This may be God at work, the Law of Attraction, or maybe even both. Either way, life is best when you put your trust and faith in it.
