Mindset: Friend or Enemy of Success?

As humans, we are fortunate to have free will, meaning we have the power to make our own choices in life Рgood or bad. While there are many, many and did I say many choices that we have to make in a single day, let alone our entire lifespan.

One of the most important choices however, that one with make in their life, will be whether they want to live as a victim or a person that takes full responsibility. I’m sure you can already guess which path the most successful people in our world have selected.

If there’s one huge success lesson I’ve learned over the last few years, it’s that you have to take 100 % responsibility of your life if you want to bring your dreams to fruition. Otherwise, you’re just leaving it up to chance and therefore, are not in complete control.

Don’t get me wrong though. I’m aware that there are certain external factors that are always going to be out of our control. But what I’m saying is that we can make the choice to create our lives the way we want them to be, and that starts with taking responsibility.

If you’re not taking responsibility of our life decisions and just allowing things to happen, you’re essentially playing the role of a victim. Victims are the type of people you hear complaining that they are broke, but then you see them riding around in a brand new car that has already put them in debt. Victims believe that things happen to them rather than because of them.

See the huge difference and how it can make a huge difference in your life as a whole?

If you’re not getting what you want in life, ask yourself why that is.

Are you taking full responsibility? Are you making things happen in your life or ‘allowing’ things to happen to you? These are super important questions to ask.

I hate to sound like a teacher in this post, but I’m just being real with my readers here. Mindset is a huge part of success, and the quality of your thoughts and actions contribute to the quality of your life.

A victim mindset will get you nowhere fast, just sitting around feeling sorry for yourself and also blaming, complaining and making excuses as to why you can’t create the life you desire. Other people have already designed the life of their dreams, so why can’t you?
